Fun House: Mist House

There is a striking similarity between TNA's Mist House and a typical McDonald's PlayPlace. Upon entering The Mist House, as is customary in Japanese culture, we removed our shoes and lined them up at the entry. This act is reminiscent of the ritualistic removal of my LA Gear sneakers just before crawling into the PlayPlace via those familiar polyethylene tunnels, a staple of my fuzzy 90s childhood.

The Mist House is inherently playful. Its sinuous concrete slabs gently guide barefoot inhabitants to the apex through a series of compressive and expansive spaces.
